Yana & Musa

So our girl Yana got engaged yesterday to her perfect man!

Our whole gang was there for Yana and she looked liked such a princess!!! A princess who couldn't decide which specific ethnicity she wanted to embody for the day, haha but still a mega princess nonetheless!

Raf: Omg you look so gorgeous, Yana!
Yana: Omg Raf, I couldn't decide what to wear today!!!
Raf: Whoah me too, that's why I'm late!

The real diva of the day was her BLING.

I know right! It LIKE A PLANET with its own set of moons.

I'll bet its gonna be hard living the rest of her adult life with an entire solar system resting on her finger, but if there's anyone who could pull it off with fabulous results, I know its gotta be our Yana.

She even brought IN HER OWN heavenly bodies into the mix!!

And presenting, the longest cake message I have ever seen!

I honestly thought at first glance that it was an ayat from the Quran because it was just so epic and curly. I'm pretty sure that the creation of this cake will inspire bakers and technicians to finally come together to engineer a new hybrid of revolutionary cakes with scroll-down bars and dancing emoticons for maximum message-capacity.

The cake was from Carousel and it was mightily spectacular, yums.

So after we had our alone time and she explained to me the fabulous aerodynamics and mechanics of her dress (behold, its actually a one piece!!!) and the wonders of her anti-gravity headscarf, it was time for pics.

Yana: Raf, guess how my scarf stays in place!
Raf: Is it hollywood tape?
Yana: No, its pins!

And naturally, the various makneneks also wanted to tumpang gembira.

I thought they were holding ELMO! But its actually a red bouquet if you look closely.

I fell in love with the chandelier, while stoning during the actual ceremony.

Iza is currently obsessed with taking macro shots with my glorious camera, which she proclaims is the best camera EVAH and she's so right.

And then the bride-to-be got hungrayyy. THE FOOD WAS AWESOME OMG. There were all sorts of kuehs and talams I'd never even dreamt of in my wildest talamiest dreams!

Hahaha Yana finally gave up and sat on the floor too after this shot lah. And she rejected my idea of using her selendang as a picnic mat.

Ahhh the bunga melor smelled soooooooo good. My mom says that a marriage is blessed with longevity and happiness if the scent of the bunga melor lasts a long time. I'm sure this one will sweetly tingle my nostrils forEVER :) I'm so happy for you two!
