Seoul SURVIVOR!

I had that Tere Liye song in my head this morning when I woke up and I had this grand split-second hope that I was suddenly waking up in Mumbai! OH MY MUMBAI, one day, I will wake up in your bountiful bosom with your padi fields and your shiokerlicious winds.

So anyway, yesterday was OMG FABULUZ!

I had just come out of crazy-bitch-land and thankfully I survived, but my fragile humanity was tattered and torn and needed gentle reconstruction in the form of yummy foods. (I spent the whole of Tuesday evening hanging on to my sanity and was almost drowned in a fountain!!!) So I knew I had to reward myself for staying alive against all odds.

Chemgeeks asked me to come along for lunch, to celebrate Dizzie's 26th!

Lets play SPOT THE ANGGEK FACE! You know how when people take your candid shots, and your face shows excitement or anguish or all the dramatic overtones of joy and jubilation? Well, Amy's candid shots always come out looking like she's the queen of england and she's just oh-so-tired of dealing with us plebeians and our silly little antics! Which is inaccurate lah, cos she's such a sweet lil thing.. Mmmhmmm...

Sharbs got the best cake EVER from this online cake shop which apparently, can publish your face on your cake! The shop makes deliveries so she was kinda stressed (as she is about EVERYTHANG, and her only cure is to drown people in fountains!) about how to surprise-deliver it to Dazziebobs.

Sha: I'm thinking, just give the delivery man his number
Sha: And they would call Daz and tell him that he has a delivery
Raf: But he doesn't know he has a delivery!
Sha: YAH thats the surprise element, hello?
Raf: But its DAZ, he'd be like, "I didn't make any order, what nonsense it this, let me speak to your manager now!"

But everything went great, thanks to my stellar acting skills!!! I should totally be in Anugerah Skrin.

She also revealed her true deep-seeded expectations of her man to us all yesterday!

MAN OF STEEL!!!

And the cake was DELICIOUSO!!! We had lunch at Seoul Garden, where we tested our limits to find out who would reign as the seoul survivor and obviously, that's me. Cooking at Seoul Garden is mad exciting, and Daz transformed into some kinda expert chef and he was imparting his cooking skills to us the whole time! And making complex dishes out of raw stuff before our very eyes!

I WANT TO GO AGAIN!! Maybe with my boys next please! And the student buffet is so cheap!!! Happy Bday Dazziebobss!!!
