That's A Deal Breaker!

OMG MONOPOLY DEAL IS SO MUCH FUN!!!



Okay, I just needed to get that out of my system before we talk about how awesometastic our failed picnic yesterday was! Its not often that we have the words awesometastic and failed in the same sentence, so you can imagine what a magical day it was! It started out at Tampinesland with Daz and we were meeting Sharbs at Bedok but she was still traveling from the WESTERN LANDS (i know you've heard stories about that part of the world, they are all true hehe) so we went shopping for essentials like kinder bueno and mentos at NTUC and then took mrt to Bedokland. Daz is so sweet right, he buys kinder bueno for Sharbs for absolutely no valid reason at all (or maybe he knows something about her pms-cycle that we don't, and he's just taming the dragon) and it works lah, she pounced on it happily like how Manis pounces on sparrows! Girls are not complex, everyone, mystery solved!

So we got to East Coast Parkland and it was gorgeous albeit like a gazillion degrees, SO HOT!!! The heat was madness, but that's okay for picnic since Ahmad thinks we can shelter under his GROUND SHEET!!! So the 5 of us got our breakfast at Macs, and Amy was totally feeling insecure about breaking all traditional norms by buying fish burger for breakfast! So apparently while we were discussing the ethics of eating fish burgers for breakfast, the gods of fury were getting busy outside having fun with the weather switches!!! IT LOOKED LIKE TWISTER THE MOVIE OUTSIDE all of a sudden when we came out of macs; there were little kids and wooden benches being blown into the ocean because the wind was so STRONG!

I wanted to take a picture of how the trees were swaying like crazy but then I realized that Amy's windsock conveys the magnitude of the wind terrors much better!

WOO! And yeah, I know its not nice to laugh at girls when their tudungs are trying to lift them off into the pacific ocean but it was too funny to watch!!! Luckily neither of them saw me laughing cos they were too busy trying to call Houston for help.

SO we just had our picnic at Macs, which was still quite cool, and literally so thanks to AIRCON. And I think it was a much better environment to play our awesome, awesome monopoly deal! THIS GAME IS SUCH DABOMBZ LIKE YOU WOULDN'T BELIEVE!!! And we really didn't believe until we started playing after Amy's long lecture on how to play. I WAS TOTALLY ZONING OUT AND GIVING UP I TELL YOU. Actually we all really didn't even understand but its okay, as the game tells you:

So the game totally switched Sharbs ON and the Sharbierella monstress was awakened by her inner electric socket which responds well to all games. I LOVE CRAZY SHARBIE!

We played for a good 2 hours, it was so much fun! Even more fun than UNO! Then we moved all the way to Tanjong Katong because the Macs at East Coast was invaded by little spermlings having school holidays. We went to this ice cream cafe that features a LICK BUFFET (i know right, how inappropriate and yet lickaliciously so) and played more and more and more monopoly deal for like the next 5 hours.

The place is really quite psychedelically pretty, and great for pics. AND ARGGHHH AMY'S CAMERA IS SO GOOD!!! My camera wants to take its own life every time they meet!

BUT AMY KESIAN!!! She didn't win a single time even though she was the one who delivered this game into all our lives and changed them irreversibly!!!

Us: Its okay Amy, maybe NEXT time you'll win
Amy: I ALWAYS WIN AT HOME OKAY!
Raf: Oh you play with yourself ah?
Amy: NO, with Amelina lah!!!

Haha I know right! Its not so crazy to practise with yourself at home, what. I think Sharbs plays all sorts of card games with Manis at home all the time, because she wins like crazy! And she always gets the awesome cards! I also get amazing cards but I'm horrible at games so I just focus on collecting monaaay.

So after the whole awesomeness of the PICNIC that took place all over Singapore from East Coast Parkland to Tanjong Katong, Ahmadamylia went home to move on with their lives after the epicness of monopoly deal and the 3 of us went Orchardland for some shopping where I found NEW JEANS (!!!) after having fun following Sharbs around Zara and F21 for like a full hour, dispensing my wealth of visionary fashion advice such as EWW and YUCKS and OMG ALMIGHTY IN HEAVEN WOMAN NO, its quite fun! She was quite disciplined at Zara so by the time she got to F21, her disciplinarian molecules were depleted and exhausted so the Sharbierella monstress took over and tried on 5 outfits! IKR TOTALLY.

We had dinzoids at Orange Lantern, the place of dreams and spicy salads.

The food is great, but the lighting is AWFUL for pics! Get more pic-friendly lighting, Orange Lantern and then we can talk!

I can't wait for the next chemgeeks outingzilla!!! AMY, WE WANNA GO SEOUL GARDEN STUDENT BUFFET NEXT WEEK CAN??? Thanks, my 4 sexypeeps for all the fun :D
