Hmmm, okay.
I just tried making my own tuna sandwich for breakfast today (due to the startling lack of a subway counter in my kitchen at 4.30am) and it became a shining example of failness right before my very eyes. Firstly it looked pretty lame but I thought, oh wells you never know, it might surprise me and taste like Breakfast at Tiffany's, although it looks like Breakfast at Perlini's Silver. But no, it tasted like dinner in Tekong, which was far beneath my lowest expectations of tuna sandwiches.
It tasted nothing like the real authentic made-by-the-hands-of-god tuna sandwiches at subway, where little tuna children run and play in huge sparkling tuna tanks and you get to choose which one you want in your sandwich, and your sandwich ends up so fresh and lovely that it literally giggles and purrs each time you bite into it. Ahhhhhhhhh subway!
Well this needs to stop, I clearly need to either learn to make the perfect tuna melt or maybe hijack a subway station and kidnap myself a lean mean tuna-making-machine counterboy who will make me my tuna melts every morning for the rest of my life mwahahaha! Okay have a smashysticky tuesday everyone.
You know i've been having sandwich cravings these past couple of days Rosemary chicken on panini bread from Coffee Beans which tasted so good last week from the Coffee Beans in CBD area, but just now when I got it from the Parkway branch, the taste was so substandard! So disappointing, after salivating thinking about it for days.

ReplyDeleterosemary is a herb which is one of the most awesome herb ever seriously. It's near Raffles City opposite the Brooks brother building facing the road, can't for the life of me remember the actual building name. later if i walk past will let you know!
