I'm still completely addicted to that new Katy Perry song. Confusing and confounding as that music video is, I can't help watching it over and over again thanks to the very hypnotic nature of Katy Perry's mouth and how she stretches it far and wide, left and right, like she's trying to act out the very essence of every single word she sings. Her jaw has crazy stamina!
I love you Katy, but good lordies!
Her face should be on Broadway, is what I'm saying! I'm not saying she needs to be beheaded so that only her face can go on to win their much deserved Tonys. Or maybe that's exactly what I'm saying. I don't know! Like all great relationships, my feelings about Katy Perry are very complex.
And yes, her black outfit does make her look like she's 3/4 human and 1/4 Big Bird around her ass.
But this song kinda strikes me like a stalker anthem. Because if you notice, the chorus goes like this:
Girl: I'll never be the same
Guy: IF we ever meet again..
Girl: Won't let you get away
Guy: IF we ever meet again..
Girl: Kiss me now like you'll never let me go
And then the guy just says nothing..
Its like the whole song is all about this one girl who's piling on all these fantasies and expectations on this guy she just met. And the whole time, the guy is going like, IFFFF we ever meet again, gurl, IF.. Because he's obviously thinking, LET'S NEVER meet again please, THIS CHICK IS KERAZAY!
Anyway, I was browsing online and guess what wonders I found this time..
