Yesterday's wedding was so sweet! I spent the entire Friday shopping for something to wear (okay, like 20 minutes but still) and finally gave up after everything at Zara was either too shiny or too expensive, so I just threw on some old thing I had and was ready set go after having a huge ironing bonanza debacle with my ironing board. I have never had a good experience with an ironing board in my whole life!
I went with Weebs, and the wedding was at Fort Canning Center so it wasn't far but parking was such a bitch because apparently, some people from Korea decided to throw a concert in the middle of Fort Canning and there were like a million people there waiting to get in. Weebs and me arrived at 6pm (the jemputan was up till 8pm) and the place was pretty!
Umm what's up with people asking us openly and uncensoredly about our relationship status! Basically everyone asked if we're together like its a totally normal thing to ask people you haven't met for years! Haha, and weebs was like NO even before they could finish their sentences, much to my hmm appreciation.
I was happy to see Elfie!!! And all my primary school mates, it was pretty awesome to see them face-to-face after all these years lah, even though it was a split-second hi-wave and then I was off to meet and greet the food.
The briyani was fabuluz and the Paceri Nenas was TO DIE FOR. It was extremely orange and thus Weebs stayed away but I was magnified by the spray-tanningness of the Paceri so I took quite a bit and it was YUMMO! Weebs agreed lah after trying some. We were both discussing how lazy we were to take desert when Eternal Mystique sashayed past and Weebs went to say hey while I checked emails (my email is mainly facebook updates lah) and she came back and was like, okay are we done?
AND I WAS SO GLAD she didn't wanna linger, so we upped our shizzle and met the parents and came out, where we saw the gorgeous bride and groom! They had been trekking around Fort Canning taking pictures, and its so awesome that we caught them. Dzaki looked sooo happy, I was happy happy happy for him!!! And Syikin was gorgeous as always, I was pretty touched that they took time to say hi to us, and it wouldn't have been complete for me without seeing how beautifully they glowed in their newly legalized state of mind! :) They're both among the kindest and most loving people I know, they totally deserve each other's sweetness.
So 3 more weddings were announced during this wedding itself!!! Its the age of weddingzoids.
woah... it'll be interesting to keep getting red bombs (refers to weddings)
