Straits Times

Saturday nights are for boybinging megafests!

Ahhhh I hearts my boys! Henry treated us to dinner at Straits Kitchen and I gotta say, I always fail so hard at not eating the whole day before buffet attempts. And yesterday was no exception but for Straits Kitchen, I pushed myself harder than I've ever pushed myself before! The food was phenomenal zomg. I think I went too fast too furious at the first round and found myself too stuffed too early too omgsianz.

We got a ride on the Fayemobile so we were early. The Hyatt is gorgeous, even the basement carpark was fully decorated with boughs of shiny italiano sports cars hehe. I'm quite a major jakun when it comes to high-class places and buffets tend to bring out the setan-gondol in me, so if the universe was ultimately a movie starring me, last night would have promised to be the equivalent of a thai horror flick!

I'm not sure why, (I think it was the random mix of indian bollybeats rocking the joint) we started our epic buffet with Indian food and the spread was DAZZLING ZOMG, I could have turned into Shahrukhkhan and then died without ever noticing my alteration to magnificence. That's the level of tak-sedar-diri-ness the indian food causes. This was where I overloaded my plate and my tummy but its okay because I realised in the end that the Indian food was the BEST out of everything there. Except for the desert which you'll get to in a few tummytwirling gasps as you scroll down.

I don't think the food would have completed the night as fabuluzly as the company of my insane boys. Well maybe almost (omg the green sambal brew was to DIE for) but not entirely! We all got kinda high somewhere along the epicness...

Ahhh the desert! The egg tarts were psychotic, I ate like half a million myself.

BUT my favourite thing of the night by far was my Gulab Jamun!!! Each time I put it in my mouth, it felt like every skin pore on my body had suddenly developed mini lips and were ALL sucking on sweet Gulab at the exact same time!!! SO SIAOTASTIC!!! I honestly want it all over me, its the best thing ever. I want to shrink into thumbelraf and curl up inside that gulab!

Thanks Henry for the smashtastic treat! We went so many rounds, it felt like a tribute to Hari Raya Haji and strangely I felt much closer to god after my Gulab rounds. So after our dinner of pure ecstasy, we had some coffee at scotts lounge.

Where we had a sweetslurpy surprise for FAYE who's just turned 21 again!!! Yah, haha I'm not the only one with tak-sedar-diri-ness affliction!

Haha Faye almost popped his own cherry! We had strawberry shortcake which was sublimeee. I think that yesterday, my entire life's experience of eating cake was reborn anew.

Happy happy bday my dearrrrrrrest bff Faye!!! <3 style="cursor: pointer; width: 604px; height: 453px;" src="http://i943.photobucket.com/albums/ad280/raffyqin/23-1.jpg" alt="" border="0">

Awesomeness incarnate!!!

I'm having the laziest haziest nappiest sundoinks ever, thinking of studying but not really. Btw I'm getting free preview cable this month!!! I watched Naked Gun at 9am today, how GLORIOUSLY OBSCENE! Oh sundays!
