I'm finally gonna talk about my first two raya remixalots!
Our boybitches raya was like 7 years in the making, and everyone keeps insisting that our last jalan raya was just 2 years ago but my beating heart still contends that it was approximately seven billion flying-donkey-years since our last jalan raya! But this year, from the result of assorted miracles and sparkles in the sky, (plus extensive coordination by Daz and Faye), we had like the most rockinrollin raya everrr!!!
I was actually not REALLY into it at first because seriously we're like 25 and well, not so young and kicky and into the whole raya mood anymore, it felt a bit like dressing up for Halloween Trick Or Treat lah. But then I decided to GO ALL IN AND abandon my normal kurta for the most traditional invention in all of kampungland, THE BAJU KURUNG!!! And omg what a difference a baju kurung makes!
And of course, I saw my boys and everything went from omg-are-we-really-doing-this to OMGGGG BESSSSST LAH SEH!!!
And my samping fell 5 times from my house to Faye's house, a tale of agony that I've since recounted to like 500 people. We had to drag Faye into his baju kurung because his original version was way too sexy to handle, nanti makciks pengsan oi!
I'm still dreaming daily of them meltiliciously amazing brownies, FAYE!!!
Daz and Henya weren't so crazy about them and were more captivated by the mee, but JS and me were like OMG WHAT MANNER OF HEAVEN IS THIS. So I could have just chained myself there and eaten them brownies all day long and then manufactured my own funky batch at his newly remodeled boudoir but we had my house up next!!!
Faye tied my samping in place with A STRING and it was the most effective form of flash-prevention everrr. My house is always boringzzz so finally we went to dazzie's house where we found emo orchidboy!!! Emo orchidboy lives in a world of bunnyladies with megahold hairgel and also final fantasies that go ON FOREVER. He's a shy species, see if you can spot him.
