So every Saturday morning, my mom would be outside on the corridor hanging the laundry to dry and I'd come out and hang out with her and let my bodyhair dance in the morning wind (we're so kampung like you won't believe) and then sometimes we'd just observe the roads and the esso station across the road and check out hot cars and laugh at unfortunate-looking ones. But this morning we noticed there were balloons and shizz flying all over the place.
So my mom has this tendency to NOT be able to hide her excitement at all and I was like, ok mom lets not stand so close to the edge can, lets go inside and watch from our highly-grilled windows.
Basically, I think its the grand opening of the new Fairprice-Esso where you can buy fascinating things like bottled water and snacks. MINDBLOWING I KNOW!
They have this deejay playing music and announcing their promotions and I can hear her clearly from across the road on my 7th floor. And she keeps announcing the exact full address of the Esso Station like, okay we're all now at the Esso Station at road blah blah street blah blah. I can't understand WHY she's doing this, since anyone who can hear her is clearly either right in front of her face, or just across the road.
I've been working on our school newsletter these past few months and we had our group shoot this week, we tried like a gazillion locations but I felt this one was the most colorifically splashy.
