Timbrotronics

So we had an amazing time last night, finally out with my amazons again! Everything's pretty much the same, except Shelz has upped her obsession with tarot cards (haha she takes it all seriously one minute, then asks who else wants to *PLAY* the next minute, so I can't tell if she totally believes in this thing or NOT or if it's just a funny little game) and apparently the game ADORES me! Yeah we played a bit at starbucks while waiting for la diva mimi.

1. Play tarot shizzlebombles
2. Shelz's iphone cover dabombz
3. Green Tea somethingzoids = also dabombz

Like I said, this game LOVES me. My draw foretold that:

1. I'm basically gonna be A STAR!
2. I have lots to go through before I make it big (hmm not so awesome)
3. Apparently, I'm heavily in love with myself..
(Also, I'm guessing I'm gonna have a lotta naked people in my life..)

I am NOT sure what to make of the 3rd one right there, (I don't need to be getting attitude from mystic forces, hello!) but the first thing kinda makes everything fade away! A STAR! How glorious. AND when I drew the card asking about my future career, it gave me The Empress. Fortunately, this doesn't automatically mean that my destiny is to undergo peen-removal services and marry an emperor (although I'm still undecided if that would be awesome or not, leaning towards no, you should be glad to know) but it IS the best and luckiest card in the entire deck of 72 cards, so that's a good sign!

Woah, did I just totally let Shelz suck me into her vortex of taroty insanity? Okay lets GET ON!

We finally landed on Timbre, which is only one of the sweetest nightspots I've known so far in my limited experience of being out at night. It IS pretty deluxe, I actually loved our initial seats way at the back but the girls wanted a lower table since they were wearing SKIRTS so we got shifted right smack to the front, totally in front of the live band.

The live band performing last night was called 53A and they were REALLY good! I loved the lead female singer's rendition of Womanizer, it sounded weirdly kinda macho, which weirdly turned me on. I really wish I could have stayed for their second set cos they promised things were gonna really heat up but it was already way past my bedtime! I needed to catch the last mrt/bus home, gawd knows I can't afford cabs right now.

Btw, I've just uploaded the pics on FB a few seconds ago and already I've got some pals asking if its a good idea for me to having pictures with alcoholic drinks just because I think they look cool (because hello, how often do you meet drinks with actual nature (mint leaves) frolicking inside them?) and I gotta say, I've been taking pictures with PEOPLE since forever, none of whom are consumable items with halal certification, so what's the big deal about having pictures with LIQUIDS? Hehe and okay for the record, I do not drink.

So the food was KINDA on the pricey side, and even on the menu it looks as if some of the items totally started foaming in the mouth from looking to the left and seeing their prices and being irreversibly horrified by them.

But our spread WAS pretty spectacular. I mean, check it out.. Holy YOWZA!

This was peking duck pizza, I think.

I totally thought they brilliantly sprinkled massive amounts of kway teow on the pizza, and I WAS SO EXCITED to try it but then the stuff was crunchy and I realized those were crackers/chips on the pizza. Which was still pretty amazing. I loveeed this pizza.

Next we had the seafood pizza, which was quite alright. Anything that even hints of a tribute to CHEESE is always welcome into my mouth!

AND we all realized our common shared affections for our apple babies!!!

Except for twin who's WAITING for her turn desperately. Haha mine's the one with all the international colours of ice cream flavours. Amazons, I hearts you all!

Have a great weekend everyone :)
