I don't want to be one of those people who're terrified to let go of their youth. Its unbecoming and unsightly and sometimes damaging to the retinas of everyone else around them. I mean, I'm almost 26. Should I really be prancing around in checkered bermies and thong slippers and tee shirts with funky coloured bold fonts?
Yesterday, Jessen asked me, "Wait, aren't you 26?" And for a second and a half, I had an outer-body experience because I almost died from utter shock. I thought, "Wait are you right? WHEN did this happen!!! HOW DID I NOT NOTICE turning 26!?? HOW MANY age-derived panic attacks have I missed by not knowing that I'm now 26!!!" Then we both realised that no, I'm 25 and will be 26 this year and the world was alright again.
I mean, I GUESS YES, I should dress my age but casual things are so damn comfy. And while other people HAVE to dress their age, I don't because I'm still defying all natural laws by being stuck in school at this old old grouchy age when I should be stockpiling my bank account with monthly paychecks and flying off to the bahamas every weekend just to see how the sun looks like from different angles of this godforsaken, credit-card-crunching earth. Okay I think I'm done with my weekly pointless rant now, happy WEDNESDAY!!!
sorry to point out but no way can a 25-year-old worker bee jet off to the bahamas every weekend. maybe once a year ahahaha. AND YES OMG WE ARE TURNING 26 WTHHHHHHHHHHHH.
ReplyDeletehahaha you're right, i do exaggerate!!! AND OMG I KNOW RIGHT, ITS NOT POSSIBLE TO SPEAK ANY SENTENCE REGARDING THIS 26 THINGY WITHOUT THE USE OF CAPS LOCKS!!! Even when I talk about it verbally, i imagine speech bubbles on top of my head and they're all in caps locks!!! hehe omg sianz
