Joystick

So, OMG.

I haven't been having coffee for eons (starbucks coffee every evening doesn't count because coffee at night barely has any effect on humans in general and starbucks coffee is like the kiddy censored version of coffee; btw we were looking at their waterbottles yesterday and the waterbottles are awesomely gorgeous yet eye-gougingly pricey and I'm totally tempted to get one but I doubt I actually would anytime in the near future for fear of bleeding internally due to toxic overspendage) and finally I woke up for sahur this morning for the first time since last friday, and I'm having my coffee!!!

I feel like a little kid again these days, I'm wearing berms and flipflops everywhere and I'm going everywhere everyday with everyone. But I was totally low on energy yesterday and Ardhie basically had to drag my shrivelling body around bugisland but ohhhh the exciting things we saw!!!

We got SO BORED of bugisjunction that we floated all the way to Ilumaland (Iluma is basically TampinesOne, except that its in Bugisland instead of Tampinesland, and its a thousand times more useless which is quite an achievement given how TampinesOne has proven to have broken all sorts of olympic records for uselessness) and at first, we felt like Ilumaland couldn't BE more needless.

OR SO IT SEEMED. Check out the gigagems we found in Ilumaland. I'm essentially one of those people who believe that the more things you have hanging off from your bag, the higher your rank becomes in the natural order of earthly beings. And as such, I can never have enough awesome things hanging off from my bag. And I also have a soft spot for the cuteness of cows in general.

HOW INSANE IS THIS! Haha its actually a luggage tag, and its the most indisputably heartwarming thing I've seen in all the years I've been alive. And it was pretty inexpensive, this was like $4.90 I think. And its guaranteed to bring me happiness FOREVARRR! Ardhie does not approve of my spending on weird things but I think he secretly thinks its awesome too.

AND THEN. It blows my mind how the taiwanese and japanese and hongkeytonkers can think of the craziest ways to spectacularize the most inane things in life. I'm so glad that the nation of taiwan exists because it has given my most boring daily essential ite
m a completely fickentastic makeover. From the back, its just like any other ezlink card..

But from the front, its MR STRONG!!! Haha I know right, I'm not humble when it comes to choosing my Mr Men characters. I got one for azianeh too because I know how much we share a great appreciation for such nonsensorama, and her's was Little Ms SEXY :p

So basically, Ilumaland was pretty smashtastic for my monday afternoon, I finally woke up and boogied all the way down to suntecland for my simians dinner. I had my subway tuna AGAIN (I had that with faye on sunday night haha and on multiple crunchylicious occasions last week) and as always it did not disappoint my tastebuds and every excitable nerve running along my body.

OHHHH SUBWAY TUNA MELT!!! Our simian family was finally reunited last night, but sadly Khid is superbusy with work so we'll only be fully reunited officially next week. AND I think I might be going to JBland with my simians today *weehee*

Oh how I hearts my simians :) So since my life is back on track, I've been reading again and I actually got this amazing pageturner a few weeks back at simcity.

The moment I saw this book, my mind reeled because I could remember it being featured on Oprah. ON OPRAH I TELL YOU!!! And we were at this popular fair at simcity where every book was going for $5 so obviously I had to get it, like umm duh. But then I realised that I can't really start on it (okay I know I called it a pageturner but I actually haven't turned any of the pages yet but hey it was on Oprah) because I'm still in the middle of that other book I got 3 months ago.

And this one's pretty mindblowingly ballbusting too (its a historical epic about hermaprodites spanning a few centuries, hello) so I'm still trying to go all the way. (Yes weebs, that's your awesome bookmark with magnets btw, I LOVEEEEE IT!!!) I've promised myself to commit to my reads and not dump them unceremoniously halfway through like they're human beings or something.

Well alright, have a smashtastic tuesdoinks everyone!
